woodberry wellness

Tiffany Houchins
Woodberry Wellness

Woodberry Wellness, in Baltimore, Maryland, is an amazing community resource for healing. The practice owner, Tiffany, has been my own acupuncturist for over ten years. Check out their site to see the wealth of services they offer. I practiced there myself for 7 years, and many of these folks have been or are currently part of my own healing team.

ERIC JONES WILLIAMS
The Well House

Eric has become an amazing asset to my healing team. His gentle yet deeply effective manual therapy methods—sometimes enhanced by the addition of Reiki—have helped me to manage pain and relax deeply during a time when relaxing feels nearly impossible. He is also highly intuitive, and I often have epiphanies on the table from the messages he offers. I highly recommend him!

WORDS WITH BOARDS

Mike and Kim at Words with Boards do incredible custom, handmade cutting boards and other custom goods for entertaining. Their products are of such high quality that they caught the attention of Martha Stewart, Oprah, and Drew Barrymore, earning them many public accolades. They are also my neighbors at my new space in Union Mill! In addition to being good folks, they did an incredible job with my new signs! Check them out!

alpha graphics

ALPHA GRAPHICS

The folks at woman-owned Alpha Graphics were really patient and helpful as I figured out what I wanted my interior signs to look like in my new space, and they were great about giving me lots of options so that I had beautiful signs at a price I could afford as a newly established brick-and-mortar business. I worked with Kim, who was amazing at ensuring I had what I needed and that everything looked like I wanted—all at a reasonable price. I cannot more highly recommend them—another of my new neighbors!

Their loving and well-trained teachers include a dear friend of mine and a yoga instructor I have studied with. Check out their offerings!

maui fires

Maui Fires

The wildfires on Maui (August 2023) have been completely devastating for the communities there. Whole towns have burned down, hundreds have lost their lives, even more have lost everything, including their homes. If you are willing and able to help, here are some organizations you can make donations to:

Maui Food Bank
Kakoʻo Maui
Hawai’i Community Foundation’s Maui Strong Fund
Aloha United Way
Maui Mutual Aid Fund
Hawai’i Restaurant Association (click here to support residents evacuated to Oahu)
American Red Cross Disaster Relief
Hawaii Salvation Army (I go on record as saying that I do not align myself with some of the beliefs of this Christian organization, but they are on the ground feeding thousands of people impacted by the fires.)

Crisis in Gaza and the middle east and the war in ukraine

There are situations all over the world where human rights are being violated, innocent people are being harmed and killed, and are lacking the resources they need to survive because of the conflicts in their countries. Consider donating to one of these organizations that help in these areas:

Doctors without Borders
International Rescue Committee
World Central Kitchen
